Yesterday evening at Due Sorella, we hosted a fabulous get together demoing some of the delicious recipes from the new Nevada Grown cookbook. It is clear how much time, and care our Nevada farmers put into the making of these original recipes! Our dear friend Linda Marrone chose 3 recipes from the cookbook for us to taste. We were able to sample baked kale chips, that were very easy to make, and deliciously addicting, as well as a fresh kale and mixed green salad, and amazing ginger cookies. Linda's demonstration make it seem like kale could be tasty in many ways! We can't wait to make some of the ginger cookies this coming holiday season!
